How did you not think she wanted the D at a cetain point..?.....Am I the only one thinking in porn scenes all the time...?

If that was Google.com she was going to and getting a cert error there is definitely a bigger problem.

My guess is that there is a deeper issue. You should let her know that she may need an actual repair once she has the cash. Probably only like 20-30 minutes of work to fix it.

I'm gonna wait and see if she texts back, because I know there is an underlying problem with her computer. I was confused why chrome would say Google is unsafe.

Have her update the clock on her system or sync it with internet time.

Agreed - I wouldn’t have bypassed a cert error on a site like Google.
However, if it’s a date error... check the time and date. If it’s wrong...

Yup. It’s either time on the computer or she’s getting MITMd and doesn’t have a CA cert from the company.

There are two biggies. Time and mitm. Those are the first things you should check.

I’ve been doing PC house calls for 20 years in my free time. It’s never been about the D. Except for the couple times it was, but that’s a one in a thousand.

(Psst... FYI, if you were trying to obscure K****’s name, you missed a spot.)
